The Champion Philosophy
The Champion Philosophy is
Integrity, Preparation, Professionalism, and Service. These
are much more than words for our company; they are a way of
conducting business.
Integrity --
Your being invited to work with us at Champion will have much to do
with a current member of our team detailing your personal integrity.
Some of our engineers have 30+ years of experience while some are
just breaking out. All of them, however, had someone point
them out to Champion as a man of impeccable integrity. Each of
our engineers currently with Champion has maintained this high level
of honest conduct. Integrity becomes the foundation for
remaining Champion Philosophy principles.
Preparation – Each
well we have the opportunity to work on is an opportunity for us to
display our very best to our customers. Champion prepares
vigorously for each of these opportunities. The preparation
begins with our account managers working closely with the Petroleum
Company to lay out for them the service we will provide.
Through this process, we write a detailed mud program tailored to
that well for that customer.
The preparation is then handed off
to our engineers in the field. The preparation continues there
with our engineers gathering as much knowledge about the well site
area as possible. We ask each of our engineers to take the
time to read each mud program and give as much input on the program
as possible. We also ask our engineers to take advantage of
the vast experience within our company by gleaning knowledge from
our more seasoned and experienced hands.
Through this preparation, we
expect that our engineers will be familiar with the depleted zones,
pressured zones, area formations tops, product required on location
by depth, and interval mud properties prior to spud. Through
this preparation, we can anticipate our customer’s needs and prepare
our customers and the rig crews for what lies ahead.
Professionalism –
Men of integrity who prepare properly will find it easy to deliver a
professional performance on each well they work. Each time you
arrive at a spud meeting, drive up on location, or take a customer
to eat or for a round of golf, you represent Champion.
Champion has a strong image of professionalism which we guard
diligently.
Professionalism involves
maintaining your integrity, preparing as required for the job ahead,
working with the hard to get along with person with patience and a
controlled demeanor, and never putting yourself in a position that
will call question to your personal professionalism or the
professionalism of our Great Company.
Service – The
backbone of our company; Service! Our customers request it,
other companies neglect it, we provide it; Service! This is by
far and away the area that separates Champion Drilling Fluids from
the pack. Our relentless pursuit of better service drives our
company to excel!!
We continually seek new and better
ways to provide better service to our customers. We meet often
with our customers and ask them to tell us how we can serve them
better. We put in the long hours researching, studying,
finding the areas we are weak at with service and make them better.
We ask each of our engineers to daily take up the challenge to
provide the best service you can to our customers today.
